Dragisa Savic was born on the 19th 1968 at village Tomasevac. He graduated from the Institute of Biology on the theme: "Flora in the surroundings of Tomasevac". He has been into botany since the first year of studies. In 1998 he defended his Master's thesis on the theme "Ecology, spread and protection of the species of Family Orchidaceae on the Fruska gora mountain. He is working in the national park of Fruska gora at present, and he has been going in for photography intensively since the beginning of studies. As a photographer he tries to record all those details from nature which most of people fail to see at all, or to look at from that angle.
