Shar is a mountain and national park situaued in the most southern part of Serbia, and it is famous of its glacial lakes and endemic plants. Unfortunately, since 1999 this national park has been inaccessible to nature lovers for safety reasons. Owing to efforts of Rastko Nikolic, an English teacher from Strpce, a Serbian enclave in Kosovo and Metohija, we can still see some sights from the Shar-mountain.
